==========================================================================The Treatment Is Free. The Care Is Priceless. Lakeland Volunteers In Medicine (LVIM) is a volunteer-run
medical clinic that provides free quality medical care to the working uninsured of Polk County. LVIM currently has over 400
medical and lay volunteers who donate their time and expertise to care for LVIM patients. LVIM began as a dream of

Lakeland came together to find ways to meet the healthcare challenges that resulted in the dream's becoming a reality in the
old John Cox Grammar School on Lakeland Hills Boulevard. LVIM is now an independent non profit organization with its own Board
of Directors. Now in its seventh year of operation, LVIM has more than 14,500 patients enrolled and has totaled more
than 140,000 patient visits. In addition, LVIM has provided 35,000 lab ests,11,000 x-rays, 1,000 screening mammograms and
has filled more than 155,000 prescriptions. These astounding numbers have been accomplished through the generous donation

Liver Injury Linked to TysabriFebruary 27, 2008 Biogen
Idec Inc and Elan Corp. have warned doctors of significant liver injury suffered by some individuals taking the MS drug Tysabri. In a February 2008 letter to doctors, the drug companies said that signs of liver damage occurred
in some patients as early as six days after their first dose of Tysabri. The
letter states that the Warnings and Precautions section of the drug's prescribing information has been revised to include
clinically significan liver injury. According to post-marketing reports,
Biogen estimates that less than one in 1,000 patients taking the drug for either MS or Crohn's disease suffered from serious
liver injury. In some cases, liver problems occurred after the drug was
stopped and then resumed, confirming the Tysabri link, the letter said. Tysabri
should be discontinued in patients with jaundice or other evidence of significan liver injury. Severe liver injury may lead
to death or the need for a transplant. Healthcare professionals should
report any serious adverse events possibly associated with Tysabri to Biogen Idec at 1-800-456-2255. A copy of the companies' joint letter is posted at www.fda.gov/medwatch/safety/2008/Tysabri_dhcp_letter.pdf.
